Finally, after 9 months of waiting, our little(or maybe not so little) baby is here. He was born on October 21, 2009, at 7:12 pm, weighing 8 lbs 8 oz and measuring just about 19 1/2 inches long! Its amazing how adorable the little guy is!
One thing that we noticed about him right away is his cute smiling face. I haven't been able to get a very good angle because he's been behind the nursery glass since he arrived, but you can tell here how happy he is.
Unfortunately, the day after his B-day he started vomiting, so they had to put him on an IV and antibiotics, but even though he's got needles in him he's still as happy as can be.
We were finally able to get his mommy in there so they could connect for a little while. I thought this shot was great with him looking into the eyes of his mommy.
Then, today we were able to take Jonah out of the hospital and go home. Unfortunately, little Jethro is going to have to stay under the care of his Pediatrician for the next few days until he can finish his antibiotics, and they can make sure any infection is gone.
Be sure to keep him, as well as his mommy, in your prayers.

Cute kid. He totally looks like you in some pics and Jonah in others. He has the same mark on his right cheek that Lucy had. I can't wait to hold him/play with him. Congrats mom and dad.

Little Jet is adorable. Matt I think that you are right, there are certain pictures that remind me of Lu as well. I think that it has to do with the chubby cheeks and his profile shot on that first picture. We were so excited to see him and hope that you will post lots more of him soon. Hope he continues to do well with the antibiotic so that you can take that little guy home with you. Love you guys, and remember to have so much fun with him, they grow up way too fast!

He has a really beautiful little face. He does remind me of Lu in some of his pictures. His dad is good looking and his mommy is beautiful...what did you expect??
